Our school district moved to clear or mesh backpacks for security purposes, and many of our new parents are not aware of this requirements, leaving lots of kids without appropriate backpacks. With the Covid-19 concerns, our kids are not using their lockers this year, so they have to carry everything with them all day. We are a Title I school, and many of our students lack everyday essentials; backpacks take a back seat to food, socks, and the electric bill. It is my goal to raise enough for 33 backpacks to add to our Clothes Closet for students in need. Anything given is appreciated!
