Our eager students are so happy to be back at school and around their friends! For some students, it’s really hard to understand where their body needs to be for safe interactions with their classmates. Also, their bodies are super tired as we all figure out how to build our endurance for in-person learning so having alternative seating is very helpful. Cube chairs aren't easy to come by as they are helpful but the cost associated with them is one that doesn't make the classroom essentials list. That was before we had to reinvent every aspect of learning and now need to consider new ways to support our students and keep us all healthy. As the occupational therapist, I'm frequently tasked with finding an available chair and then responsible for returning it at the end of the trial. It doesn't sound too hard, but you'd be surprised at how much time goes into something so simple. These chairs are also easy to sanitize and can be used for students of multiple ages which is a definite bonus!
