The vinyl seat cushions will enable the students to sit in the classroom in alternative ways, while also being Covid-19 safe. This in turn will help students learn better because they are more comfortable and able to focus on the task at hand. The low lighting will help in two different ways. 1) The multi-color lamp will help set the tone for our mindfulness lessons. Mindfulness has been proven to help lower student's stress level thus increasing their ability to learn. 2) The low lighting will also help with headaches and eye sight straining. The fluorescent lights are tough on students eyes.
