In the book, William is a resourceful and resilient individual who embraces challenges. It has been a year since these students have been able to experience a hands-on learning opportunity, and we want to give them a chance to actively engage in learning. By donating to our project, you are not only providing an outstanding learning experience, but also helping to increase student academic achievement and enabling them to discover character traits within themselves like the perseverance that William demonstrates in the book. The students will use the Engineering Design Process and experiment with the materials you provide to build a working model of a wind turbine. Our vision is that students succeed in building a working wind turbine, discover a love of science, and boost confidence in their abilities.
