As many educators are working from home and are using the same networks and programs, connection errors occur frequently. I understand and hear my students' frustrations when they tell me I am frozen on their screens, when they can't see/hear me, when they can't see what I'm presenting on-screen, or when I get kicked out of our Meets unexpectedly, losing precious class time as I attempt to reconnect to the network. Some of my students are ESL and English Language Learners (ELL), so every minute of lost instruction time is detrimental as they require hands-on learning that I can offer when I present and break down instruction for them. Your donation will SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE or COMPLETELY ERADICATE the strain of latency issues I have been experiencing each day so that my students get the full-time, uninterrupted education they deserve during this unprecedented time. The Google Nest mesh network provides fast and reliable speeds that will increase the connection within my environment without interruption, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds will allow me to not only come across clearly to my students but will completely drown out all background noise on my end, removing any/all distracting noises that may arise as working from home can present its own challenges. These kids are our future, and I would be greatly appreciative of any who might be able to help invest to make our new normal just a little easier for them.
