These track and field supplies will help support the track and field program this year and for years to come. Our team is made up of boys and girls who enjoy the challenges of mental and physical barriers. These athletes do not always have the supplies they need in order to build upon their current skill levels. We need the discus to provide for all the athletes who strive to improve their technique. The hurdles will be used for form training. The mini hurdles will help to improve their agility. The parachutes will be used to increase stride, speed, and confidence on the track. All of these materials will help them to feel successful on the track and field. Not all of my student-athletes shine in the classroom; giving them an opportunity for success outside of the classroom is important. Track and field could potentially help them to have a future they could not get academically. This includes scholarships, as well as skills that can be generalized to their everyday life once they leave high school.
