I am requesting eight copies each of Hoot and Moon Over Manifest. The books will allow us to build reading fluency and comprehension. The books will enable my students to have class discussions and build on knowledge to bring back into the general education classrooms while closing educational and social emotional gaps. We can also use the texts to build on writing skills because we can use the novels to complete writing prompts. Many of my students come from families with limited means and funding can be a challenge. The donations will enable us to fill some socioeconomic difficulties that we often face.
