As a brand new teacher, I am needing to fully furnish my special education resource classroom. My goal with this Donor’s Choose project is to provide my students the tools and resources they need to succeed throughout the day. In my outdoors/camping themed room, I want to provide them with a space that is calming, with a tent and also a sound barrier room divider so that they can have the privacy and space they need if they are experiencing sensory overload. I also want to provide a space where they can be creative and provide an outlet for them by using using the Stem based activities that this project will purchase. In order to set up these different centers, I am needing many pieces of furniture for seating, and organization along with room dividers and activities for my students to work with.
