Intermediate and Advanced Art student come with a wide range of experience and interest, all join with an eagerness to grow their art skills and expand artistic opportunities. On average about 70% of our students have shared that they do not have any art materials at home. During our current Covid times we are doing all distance learning and we still have not received art supplies from our district beyond a sketchbook. The art kit will supply second/third year art students with a high quality range of materials to explore. I currently have a student who received a kit via donations who has autism, he has not done much painting in the past, and is now creating more than ever, trying out his different materials and especially painting on a regular basis.
