The students within my classroom offer a variety of different abilities and interests. Games and manipulatives are a great way for students to partake in hands learning opportunities. The learners within my classroom thrive on using items that offer them structured play while completing academic tasks. You'll notice this in the different letter, numbers, and colors games I have selected. Within my donors choose you will also notice some sensory items such as sand paper letters and fidget tools. Giving students the opportunity to engage in learning through more than one sense is a great way for them to learn. This also helps my students focus in on their learning or give their brains a break throughout the day. Lastly, appropriate social skills is something that I often work on within my classroom. Through the use of games and activities, I can allow my students the opportunity of participating in play scenarios that will foster these social skills. Play is a huge part of a students growth at a young age.
