The headphones will provide the students with the opportunity to access their learning with limited distractions while attending school remotely. Headphones are great because they can adjust the volume to a setting where they can hear their teacher's directions the first time. They will not have to ask the teacher to repeat their instructions because their baby sibling is crying in the background. In addition, many of our students are in daycare type programs because their parents have to work. These students are also working six feet apart from one another. Many of them do not have noise-canceling headphones so they too are easily distracted. The headphones will allow students the opportunity to be more engaged in their learning. My students were good learners in school, so let's award them with the same opportunity while having to learn remotely.
