I am so excited for my class to learn to better use technology by having a mouse to maneuver virtual manipulative objects on screen in math. These new materials will even up the learning curve. My students will have tools at their fingertips to give them some autonomy in navigating their devices and submitting assignments. The headphones will help quiet the noises around them so they have a better opportunity to concentrate and absorb the information in their lessons. Mastery of the tools to technology will serve my students their whole lives. I hope that using these tools will incite in my class the excitement of discovery and therefore they become compelled to be lifelong learners.
