Students will use the Scholastic subscription to practice Spanish with audio activities and cultural readings. Students will also learn the geography of Spanish countries. The students will have access to the magazine with the digital subscription. The articles in the magazine will also expand their knowledge of other disciplines to acquire new information. It meets the Massachusetts Foreign Language Curriculum Framework, Learning Standard 7: Connections. It will help students make connections between their culture and those of Spanish speaking countries. The magazine will also be used to support students performing above grade level by giving them an additional resource of information
