As a first year teacher at my current school, I'm seeking to supply my classroom with necessary supplies, as well as add to our classroom library. Providing students with fun and engaging books for their bookclubs will keep them motivated and excited to join their Zoom sessions. I love sharing my passion for reading with my young readers. Books are key to fostering curiosity in students. In addition to book club books, help me provide my students with inspirational stories of role models such as Malala and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Offering my students books that tell stories about cultures and families of different colors and race will provide them with a connection to their own experiences. To tackle the challenges of our class currently participating in full-time distance learning, I'm also seeking resources through Teachers Pay Teachers to provide interactive online activities to my students to keep them engaged while at home.
