Students will learn work ethic and perseverance through consistent care of the garden using the clippers, and trowels. Students will track plant health and add nutrients to the soil through composting and plant care. Through this gardening project, students will learn perseverance, work ethic, plant life cycle, farm to table concepts, and vegetable preparation ideas. Gardening aprons will allow students to be protected from dirty clothes. Students will determine the watering needs of the vegetables and use the hoses, potting soil, nozzles, and timer to take care of the plants. We hope to share the fruits of our labor with the entire student body by offering taste tests and free samples.
