The many sensory diet items I am asking for will be used within the classroom, as well as when my students are home on hybrid days for break opportunities and incentives to help support their social/emotional growth. These items will also be used when work is finished at school where they will have their own individual items at their desk that they can use. During these times we are trying to limit the exposure to germs, so having their own individual items will be best. They just love slime, kinetic sand, floff, puzzles, squishies, play doh, and bubbles. My students also work towards earning prizes and a sticker at the end of the day. The donations in this project will help support my students' social/emotional growth! My students in the classroom will benefit from these items, but at home as well! They also need more resources at home. I hope to help with that! So the dry erase pockets with markers, mini erasers for math, the magnetic ten frames, will all support their learning. When we are home I would love a space where I can keep them engaged, so having an easel with chart paper and supplies to go along with it would be so helpful. I hope to create an environment where they are getting exactly what they need even though we are not in the classroom.
