My plan is to provide my students with a calming, productive environment to complete their school work, all while juggling their jobs, family, preparing for college, and more. The amount of stress this can put on a growing individual, who is still learning to cope and manage adult tasks, can be overwhelming. With the rise of teenage depression, anxiety, and tragically suicides, the mental health and well-being of our teenage population should be a major priority within school systems. Help me provide my students with a calming work environment. I want to provide my students with a safe, calming environment where they can focus on their work, unwind, or work out their troubles in a healthy way with music and color therapy, plant therapy, and more.
