The supplies I am requesting are the supplies they will use the most throughout the school year. The supplies are necessary for all students to learn and be successful. I would like for my students to have their own supplies. Studies have shown students who have all of their learning tools will be more successful. Even though we think school supplies are no big deal, to these children it means being able to have something they can call their own. Since we are at 100% capacity in the classroom, they are unable to share their supplies with one another. It is to keep my students safe from spreading germs.
