Learning can be tiring and staying in one spot all day can make anyone antsy. The materials for this project would help create a safe, comfortable space for my students to relax and cool down. One of my students' biggest goals this year is self-regulation and being able to express when they need to take a break, recharge, or reset. The flexible seating for this project will also tend to various sensory needs and can assist in helping a student get back to a place where they are ready to learn. Overall, having this corner will help in improving my students' autonomy and ability to make these types of decisions on their own.
