BES is a Title I school located in West Baltimore that serves mostly low-income students. In order to get ready for my first year of in-person arts instruction, I applied for grants, attended community giveaways, and collected all the art materials I could find lying around our building. I was able to gather a number of basic supplies, but there are still many cracks that I am looking to fill (with mosaic grout). As our only fine arts teacher, it's important to me that our students get the opportunity to express themselves with as many types of media as possible. After a year of virtual learning in which supplies were extremely limited, I'm hoping to make this a year of joy and exploration by providing as many art materials as possible to my students. Thank you for any and all support you can lend!
