The books will make a huge different for my students. Not only will these books be a chance for us to grow as a group of young girls, but we will use these again and again throughout our school so that each Advisory group can have a book club. This changes the thoughts around reading, which often young people, especially those with delayed reading levels, think negatively about. It makes reading fun! The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards would help me tremendously to be able to afford to purchase counseling and social skills tools. These tools will be used to advance my students social skills so they can better interact with the world around them. The counseling tools will help me leverage my education combined with activities and tools that will improve the mental health and well-being of my students.
