Social and emotional learning (SEL) is critical to our students' development. Teachers are pressed to help shape our students' ability to navigate this world in a productive and safe manner. Through SEL, my students will focus on coping skills, pro-social relationships and goal setting. These skills will help my students navigate an ever changing world that demands flexibility and patience. I am in great need of a second computer monitor. This monitor will allow me to see my students' faces while presenting lessons, affirm their engagement and support their needs.
