By sixth grade, students are using many online programs regularly that require use of technology. Our students use programs such as Kahoot, Iready, and Achieve on a regular basis, and we have to rotate use of chromebooks so that everyone has a turn. I'm requesting these three chromebooks to help us get closer to a 1/1 ratio when it comes to technology. There are so many ways that my students can use these chromebooks on a regular basis. Sixth graders are quite proficient at technology and used to using it to learn, and access is key to this process. The women featured in the IF/THEN collection provide great inspiration to students in all areas, which is important to me as teacher that wishes to inspire well rounded students. I can use the inspiration of these women's contributions to allow my students to express their creativity with these chromebooks for many projects throughout this year and in years to come.
