I have been an elementary school educator for 17 years. For the past 5 years, I have been working as a Math Coach at an elementary school. Sadly, COVID-19 Pandemic has caused major obstacles throughout school districts. In my school district, parents had the option of selecting a Virtual Learning Academy rather than in person learning for their child(ren). Several families decided to take advantage of that option. Unfortunately, the Virtual Learning Academy ended up with more students than expected, leaving a huge a shortage of educators for the academy. As a result, the District Leaders have taken instructional coaches from schools to teach a Virtual Learning Classroom. In order for the students to have the best and most successful learning experience, the document camera is a necessity! It will assist me in delivering lessons online that replicate an in-person experience as much as possible.
