Students often collaborate and work around the room throughout the day. Having the right seating can help them focus during lessons and work time, as well as help them be productive classroom citizens. Most students benefit from frequent movement breaks however, we want them to build stamina when it comes to reading, writing, and their work (independent and collaborative) in general. Seating, such as wobble stools, stability balls, and floor pillows help them achieve the best of both worlds! While I do have some stools in the classroom already, I do not currently have any stability balls or floor cushions. I would like to have as many options for my students to choose from as possible.
