When we return to school, the classroom environment will look a little different than normal. I want to give my students a fun learning experience despite the effects of COVID-19. These kids are eager to get into the classroom and be with their friends and teachers. Giving each student their own fun learning manipulatives will benefit them in many ways. In my kindergarten classroom we like to play together, but this year, our play will look a little different. I want my students to still have fun and make connections with one another. Supporting my students social/emotional needs is a priority and these items will be beneficial. Social skills are learned in kindergarten through play, so giving my students a fun and safe way to experience a "normal" kindergarten year is something that is really important to me!
