Practice is the only way to get better! It is no different when the skill is reading. My students are in need of access to books that interest them and are at their independent reading level! The more they are interested and engaged in reading, the stronger they will become. By helping me build my classroom library, you are providing my students with books to read in school as well as books to take home to continue reading! Students in 4th grade are expected to read one chapter book per week. That means I need a lot of books for students to access. This is my second year of teaching and prior to this year, I was a kindergarten teacher. I am in need of books at my students' reading levels. Thank you for taking the time to read this page.
