Face masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizer are the new vocabulary words for this year. Sadly, our classroom is no longer the same with the coronavirus guidelines. We can't use our carpet area to gather together for instruction. Just wanting to read a story is difficult. The students remain at their seats while I walk around carrying the book to show them. A document camera would provide EVERYONE in the room to be able to see the illustrations, text, and feel a part of the story. Having it project onto the screen would be awesome! This would also be excellent for having the entire class stay focused and engaged.
