This year teaching Kindergarten has been an interesting one. Students all need their own individual supplies and are unable to share anything. As a teacher that loves my students to share and work together, it was extremely difficult to pack up and store all of my stem bins, imaginative play items, and other concrete, hands-on items that sadly I don't have enough of, for each student to have an individual set. I want to give my students some fun playtime back by providing them with individual LEGO boards, for them to build on and enough LEGO bricks for each student, that they will be able to build and create amazing things. I can't wait to hear my students talk with each other about what they are building and why. I want to hear them having fun while learning to be creative and problem solve. The ideas I have to get them to safely collaborate while building, creating, and problem solving are nearly endless.
