These new chairs would be much more comfortable for the students to sit on and that would be more conducive to overall learning,. Many of my students ask to sit in the floor as opposed to these old chairs. They constantly report that the chairs are uncomfortable and can they get a new chair. It's hard to tell them that we do not have any more chairs to give them. If a chair breaks, we have to borrow from another room, which means at some point, that teacher may need their chair(s) back.
