Research shows that students learn best and retain information when it is taught in an authentic, meaningful way. The Breakout EDU kit is similar to the very popular escape rooms. Students will use their critical thinking skills, as well as working as a team, to solve a puzzle in order to open the boxes. Students need this opportunity to practice communication, team work, and problem solving skills. Teachers have access to a variety of lessons for all grade levels with the purchase of a kit. The kits would allow me to give a meaningful experience and differentiated learning to my seventh grade math students. My school already has the Breakout Edu platform and these boxes would be beneficial to go with it for my students!
