Reading and writing are integral parts of science, and I am hoping to use this project in order to incorporate those skills into my lessons! "The Martian" is an excellent work of science fiction that discusses many of the concepts in my curriculum. I am hoping that the classroom set of "The Martian" will bring literature into my class, and give students a better appreciation for reading. I know that incorporating this book into my lessons will help make learning science fun and engaging. Virtual learning has completely changed how I teach and present my lesson plans. One resource that I use everyday is Google jamboard. The jamboard is like a virtual chalkboard and is excellent for displaying and teaching my lessons. I am currently using my laptop to incorporate jamboards into my lesson, however, tablets are much more efficient at navigating and using the program. I am hoping to use the Levono Tablet in order to use jamboards to their fullest potential, and deliver fun and engaging lessons to my students. This project will truly make a difference in my class!
