Because of these unprecedented times, conducting formal and informal testing for students whom we suspect have a Speech-Language disorder or any other disability (e.g., learning, Autism, Developmental Delay, etc.) have been challenging. As a Speech-Language Therapist, having a document camera will make it possible for me to administer the assessments virtually, which is the first step to ensuring that the student receives the support he or she needs to be successful in the classroom. The document camera will also help with the facilitation of the testing process in a timely manner. All of the students who will be evaluated deserve the additional support they need to be the best they can be. I will be able to make recommendations for the students after all testing is completed. The document camera will make it easier to complete the testing portion of the evaluation process.
