Coming into the classroom for the students after learning from home will be a difficult transition. They have been learning beside their families during this uncertain time. Having family play items inside the classroom will help to bring the comfort of home to school. They will be practicing their speech, focusing on social emotional learning, meeting their sensory needs and practicing positive behaviors when playing with the doll house, furniture, people and babies. They will feel comfortable with dolls that look like them and families at home as well as exploring other cultures with different races.

About my class
