While our school is a 1-to-1 device-to-student ratio, not all students have the accompanying equipment, such as headphones. I am using the "Modern Classroom Project" template to conduct my English class, meaning students primarily work through lessons at their own pace using the materials I post. The most common post are videos, pre-recordings of topics/questions/information that would have previously been delivered in a lecture format. The headphones are essential for students to be self-paced without causing confusion and chaos in the room. The goal of the Modern Classroom is to making learning as a whole more accessible. By posting videos with corresponding activities, students can pause and rewatch as needed, as well as access the "lecture" at any time so they do not feel discouraged or behind if they miss school. The microphone would help me produce high-quality videos for my students to ensure the information comes across clearly. Thank you for your support!
