Sensory tools are so valuable to students who are active learners or students who need help regulating their emotions. By having access to a variety of tools, such as Theraputty, marble fidget toys, or balls to throw or squish, they will be able to focus their attention on their work. With these tools, they will become more independent learners. Making my students feel successful is so important. Sensory tools will help them feel more successful and focused. My students will be allowed to choose their own tools, taking their learning and success into their own hands.
