Each year, I just get plain lucky! I’m a K-2 English as a New Language teacher, and my students are simply the best. They come from many diverse backgrounds. So many countries and cultures—over 10 languages are represented in my classes. The central component of our classroom is stories. They bind us together. We talk books. We trade life stories. We learn and celebrate all of the small moments that bind us together. We are a community, a family, and at our center is literature. Help us continue learning as we strive to do our best and learn the most with an equity framework!
