Because of Covid the ability to do hands on labs were greatly diminished. We are also a Title 1 school. Over 75% of our students are from low-income househods. Having a 3D printer would make it possible to make realistic models of organs, bones, animals, etc. This would help the students to see science up close and personal. The goal of applying for this grant is to enhance the students ability to see science as something that could be applicable to their daily lives. They need to appreciate the fact that science is all around us.
