According to the document "Fall 2020 Guidance for Music Education" (National Association for Music Education), singing should be limited to 30 minutes per class, with at least 3 Air Change rates per Hour (ACH) at a minimum. The use of HEPA filters is recommended to increase ACH. In order to allow my students to sing this school year (in both Chorus and General Music classes) and follow music education safety guidelines, I am looking to obtain an air purifier with a HEPA filter for my classroom. Having this air purifier in my classroom will bring peace of mind to my students and myself.
