I aim to gather a collection of books that students can use to explore mathematical concepts, history of mathematics itself, the history and ideals of mathematicians. Many of our students are still in the earlier stages of learning English so I wanted to be able to support some of the practice with earlier reading level things that can be used to dive further into mathematical topics that can range from centuries of use and many levels of understanding. Regardless of reading level it is also a practice in looking for mathematics and seeing it in action outside of textbooks and worksheets. All of this together I hope to give students the chance to breathe life into the mathematics they are learning.
