As a special education teacher, we are constantly writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and making sure that their information is confidential. A printer and ink will help me print those confidential documents to give to my families in a yellow folder. Some of my families do not use email, therefore, a physical copy of their IEP is necessary. Usually these documents are 15+ pages, and the price of a printer, ink and paper takes a toll on a teacher's salary. IEPs are essential to our students in special education. It is necessary for our families to have that information in a physical copy. In addition, I've included a shredder to help safely throw away these confidential documents. These materials will help me focus solely on teaching, so that I can truly dedicate myself to my students during this pandemic.
