ASCA (the American School Counselor Association) is the leader in teaching counselors how to have an effective school counseling program. In a world were school funding is stretched thin, using data to prove the effectiveness of school counselors helps ensure their position, and in turn the success of students in the areas of social/emotional development, college and career readiness, and academic achievement. I'm still in the beginning years of my career as a school counselor and would love to learn ways to most efficiently and effectively use data to best spend my time to promote student success Healthy supportive relationships are the driving factor in determining student success, both in and out of school. As we all know, building positive healthy relationships with students can be a challenge; and those that need the relationships the most are often the hardest ones to connect with. These resources will help in building positive healthy relationships with students, and ultimately help with their success.
