All of my students are English Language Learners who face many different challenges. I am hoping that these items will help them continue to learn and be successful through these difficult times. I will use the items donated to ensure all of my students get the education they deserve and to bridge the gap between school and home. I will use the printer to print the notes, lists, and sheets my students need for each lesson. The binding machine and the binding supplies will be used to assemble their workbooks designed and leveled for each student's individual needs. I will use the document camera, the whiteboard, and the microphone to have a better projection during our live sessions so they understand me better and, in turn, keep them engaged. These items will also be used during the recording of the lessons that I will upload for students to view when they need the lesson explained again. The markers and the card-stock paper will be used to make the lessons meaningful and relatable to my students' lives. The white boards, expo markers, expo erasers, as well as the sheet protectors will be distributed to students as school supplies to be used during our live Zoom instruction time. I know this is a difficult time for us all and my job is to make sure I continue to give my students the best education I can give them. These supplies will help me give my students the best instruction during distance learning and hopefully lessen the burden of learning from home. Please help me be a more effective teacher in my new role. Thank you.
