Due this Covid-19 pandemic, my students have to learn to keep themselves safe by wearing their masks and keeping distance, 2 things that may be challenging for students with Autism due to sensory issues. Adding another layer of protection such as clear sneeze guards partitions on their desks will ensure that I am providing a safe and healthy classroom for both students and staff. An effective learning environment begins with a safe learning environment. Ensuring our protection in the classroom will help my students continue to develop and grow into productive members of our society.
