As an educator in the 21st century, I am not only teaching students the foundations of reading, writing and mathematics, but I am preparing students to be successful in the future. I believe that we need to do everything in our power to give our kids the competitive edge by engaging their excitement and curiosity. Students in my classroom like to participate during live math instructions, unfortunately most of my students do not have writing desk. My students do not have a writing desk, so I would like my students to use whiteboards during math instruction without having to need a writing desk. The whiteboards will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.
