I am requesting a pair of Dewalt scroll saws for my woodworking and technology classes. We currently have a pair of hobby level scroll saws. With class sizes in the 20s, the shop really needs four scroll saws at a minimum. The current saws are constantly needing repair attention, making the situation of student access even worse. Scroll saws are a great piece of equipment for high school and junior high school shop classes. They are very safe and allow students to make projects easier such as signs, holiday type ornaments and art, and bowls. I find our current scroll saws valuable and popular.
