My students attend school within the walls of North Texas State Hospital (AFP) in Vernon, Texas. Because of the restricted environment, they don't have access to modern entertainment. No phones, no iPads, no computers, nothing. What my kids do is READ! Yes, they love to read. The school has a small selection of books for students to check (I'm working on turning our system into a real, functioning library for them,) but I need help providing quality reading material. Please show our kids you care about their recovery process and their futures by donating. You have no idea how much these kids need to know someone cares.
