This year brings new challenges to the table with digital learning! I want my students to have the best experience possible, so I need new technology to achieve this goal. I will use the monitor to teach live, interactive lessons. The touch screen will let me comment on student work in real-time and it will allow me to teach lessons similar to a real classroom experience. The document camera will improve my lessons by allowing me to model activities, record student learning/thinking, and create anchor charts. This tool is perfect for modeling because it allows my students to see what they would "normally" see in the classroom. A document camera is a tool that I need for the majority of my lessons...it will get frequent use! Finally, I am looking for some new books to spruce up my library! The books chose will be a great addition to the library and will provide the students with opportunities to build their love of reading. These books are grade-level appropriate and I know my students will make many connections to the stories. Books are a fantastic way to learn about ourselves and build classroom community!
