In this kit, there are countless items to keep the kids engaged, focused and wanting to learn while they are not physically in the classroom. Blue light glasses can not only be exciting, but can help with fatigued eyes from being in front of a screen for much of the day. Playdoh, glow sticks, beach balls, and pipe cleaners are tactile and can be used for a variety of subjects. Plastic hats, friendship bracelets, and golden eggs will foster relationship building as well as excitement! Each day, week, or month that we are distance learning, we can pull out our engagement items and turn the lesson from boring to engaging in an instant. I am so excited for my students to receive their kits and continue our year of fun!
