For people with autism, learning life skills is essential to increase independence at home, at school and in the community. By introducing these skills early and building block by block, people with autism gain the tools that will allow him or her to increase self esteem and lead to more happiness in all areas of life. The acquisition of life skills is an on-going process. All skills take time to acquire and become fluent with. A life skills program should be an integral part of every child’s education. This project will focus on increasing the fluency of my students in the areas of life and job skills. Teaching virtually has eliminated the ability to teach students life and job skills in the classroom. I need help purchasing digital life and job skills tasks for my students. Digital tasks will help my students acquire and become fluent with their life and job skills.
